Managing Partner and Co-Founder

Marcus co-founded Curevstone Capital in 2019 after a 15-year career that spanned founding two enterprise software companies, serving as VP of Engineering at a publicly traded cloud infrastructure firm, and completing an MBA at the Wharton School. His first company, a developer tooling startup, was acquired by a Fortune 50 technology company in 2014. His second, an AI-powered compliance platform, achieved unicorn status in 2017 before going public in 2020.

At Curevstone, Marcus leads investments in artificial intelligence, developer infrastructure, and deep technology. He sits on the boards of eight portfolio companies and is known in the founder community for his technical rigor, candid feedback, and long-term orientation. He is particularly interested in AI systems where proprietary data creates durable competitive moats.

Marcus holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the advisory board of the Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science and is a founding member of the Founder Alumni Network.

Priya Anand, General Partner
Priya Anand
General Partner and Co-Founder

Priya brings to Curevstone a rare combination of deep scientific training and operational experience. After completing a Ph.D. in computational biology at MIT, she joined a leading genomics startup as Head of Product, eventually becoming Chief Product Officer and leading the company through major funding rounds and a subsequent public offering. She joined the early-stage investing world in 2017 as a Venture Partner at a San Francisco-based fund before co-founding Curevstone alongside Marcus.

Priya leads investments in health science, biotech, and climate technology. She is known for conducting extraordinarily deep scientific diligence and for her ability to help founders navigate the specific complexities of building technology companies in regulated industries. She has served as a board observer or director on eleven companies over her investing career.

Priya holds a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University, a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from MIT, and completed the Executive Program in Leadership at Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is a frequent speaker at the MIT Enterprise Forum and serves on the investment committee of two climate-focused philanthropic foundations.

Daniel Frost, General Partner

Daniel joined Curevstone as General Partner in 2021 after a decade in global technology investment banking and two years as CFO of a high-growth fintech company. He led the firm's geographic expansion into Europe and Asia-Pacific and established Curevstone's relationships with the cross-border startup ecosystems in Singapore, London, and Tel Aviv. His fluency in global capital markets makes him a uniquely valuable partner for founders targeting international institutional investors.

At Curevstone, Daniel leads the fintech and financial infrastructure thesis, and co-leads investments in enterprise software with global distribution ambitions. He has particular expertise in growth-stage preparation, helping portfolio companies structure their growth metrics, financial narratives, and investor targeting ahead of the critical next funding milestone.

Daniel holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.Sc. in Finance from the London School of Economics. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Young Presidents' Organization. He is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and conversational Spanish.

Alejandro Reyes, Principal

Alejandro joined Curevstone from a fast-growing developer tools company where he served as VP of Product. He leads diligence on artificial intelligence and developer infrastructure investments and sits on two portfolio boards as observer. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Michigan and an M.S. in Machine Learning from Stanford.

Sophie holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from ETH Zurich and spent four years as a research scientist at a leading national laboratory before joining Curevstone. She leads technical diligence for deep technology and climate investments and manages the firm's academic research partnerships in Europe. She sits on the scientific advisory boards of three portfolio companies.

Jordan joined Curevstone from McKinsey and Company's technology practice where he focused on digital transformation in financial services. He supports diligence across the fintech and health science portfolios, leads competitive analysis for new investment areas, and manages the firm's founder community initiatives. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Statistics from Duke University.

Nadia Okonkwo, Associate

Nadia leads Curevstone's engagement with emerging market startup ecosystems across Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. Before joining the firm, she worked in corporate venture at a global telecommunications company and co-founded a nonprofit accelerator focused on women-led technology startups. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lagos.

Rachel manages firm operations, investor relations, and the Curevstone portfolio support platform. She joined from a large-cap asset manager where she worked in fund operations. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Thomas leads the firm's portfolio support programs including talent acquisition, go-to-market, and corporate development. He was previously VP of Business Development at a Series D enterprise SaaS company and managed a portfolio of 60 strategic partnerships.
